Bellair Farm is your one-stop-shop for all things local!  Working with partner producers, we have curated an expansive list of products that meet strict standards. All products listed on our site are truly local -- meaning that not only are they produced within the state of Virginia but also that the ingredients or components of production are local agricultural products (50% or more). In addition, we favor companies with fair labor practices and ecological growing standards.

We understand that customers are looking for easy ways to shop. Our online store allows you to order from multiple producers and pick up from your choice of convenient locations. Ordering from Bellair helps to build and support our community, and to preserve our precious agricultural land for future use.

FAQs:

I'm not a CSA member - can I still purchase items through your store? Absolutely! All you have to do is register as a customer (see link above) then select whatever items you want!

What are your Barn Store hours? Our farm store and pick-your-own field is open Fridays 9-5 and Saturdays 9-2 during the main season April-November. After that, we switch to winter hours: Saturdays only 10-2 December-March. 

I'm a first time CSA member - what can I expect from my share? Our share sizes are based on an average number of items. The Half Share contains 6 items and a Full Share contains 10 (sometimes 11). An item can be anything from a bunch of carrots or radishes to a quart of potatoes to a half pound of greens. Some items will be pre-packed, but you will also be able to choose from a selection each week. Remember -- our shares are seasonal and can vary week to week and year to year. 

Do I get any other perks from being a CSA member? You sure do! Current-year CSA members (any veggie OR add-on share) get 20% off vegetables and 10% off eggs. These prices will be automatically adjusted for you on the website. Members are also welcome to enjoy the farm, whether that be through pick-your-own, walking, picnicking and more. For CSA members, pick-your-own and visiting hours are weekdays 8-5 and weekends 9-2.

I selected one location, but this week I need to pick up from somewhere else. Is that a problem? It depends! If you just have a vegetable share, then you can go to any pick-up location. However, we will only bring add-on shares to your selected pick-up location.
