Our All Purpose Flour is a finely ground, stone-milled Pennol wheat, a Pennsylvania variety predating modern wheat.
-- "Silver" is medium extraction (75%), more similar to a commercial white flour.
-- "Gold" is high extraction (90%), more similar to whole wheat.
Deep Roots Milling operates out of historic Woodson’s Mill in Nelson County, Virginia. Woodson’s Mill was originally built in the 1790s and has been in continual operation throughout the majority of its history.
